Today is my dd, Isabella's birthday. (She is Kaya on my blog). She is 10.

Well, my dh won't be here tonight because he left earlier (from a different part of CA) to be with his dying grandmother as she has taken a turn and isn't expected to make it through the night.

Our plans were to go to dinner and celebrate her birthday. Obviously there's something more pressing happening.

But since she'll have to wait for her celebration, would you mind stopping by my blog and wishing her a happy birthday - it's been a rough day here.
