After a week of successful new recipes and wonderful dinners, my husband said he's bringing pizza home for dinner to give me a break.

Pizza on the grill with green salad and fruit salad. We don't actually follow this recipe, just the idea. For ours we make a pizza dough (or purchase some from Trader Joes.) While the dough is on the grill, we mix drained diced tomato, fresh pressed garlic cloves, Italian seasoning, and olive oil in a bowl. Once we flip the pizza dough, we layer slices of provolone cheese, then the tomato mix, then other toppings...tonight it will be Canadian bacon and pineapple. Yum!
Love,

I've been really enjoying the fish recipes from the cookbook Saving Dinner so we'll be having a fish recipe from there. Mashed potatoes/gravy and salad.
I'm feeling depressed so I might top my evening off with a whole bag of Oreos and a gallon of milk...
Tomorrow will be better!...it is a long weekend after all!

Angie,
I've never done pizza on a grill, so I'm going to ask a stupid question. Do you put the dough straight on the grill or put it on a pizza pan, then on the grill? Doesn't it fall through the spaces in the grill?

Hey Anne Marie, there are no stupid questions, right LOL? Good news, you can grill your pizza with the dough straignt on the grill or on a stone. We put our dough straight on the grill and flip it before putting on toppings. We haven't had any problem with the dough slipping through the grill but this might depend on your dough consistency and/or grill top. We do sacrifice the look of the pizza (which tends to turn out oddly shaped because once it hits the grill, it is down!)
Happy Grilling
Love,
