Dear Friends,
I noticed today that Dawnie now has four girls in a row (since the birth of baby Clara Joy), and I thought it might be fun to find out who has many in a row and which member has had the greatest number of children of either gender all in a row.
I started out with four girls in a row, and this seems common enough at least around here, but I'm curious to hear from you! (The "row" does not have to be the first children either--it could be anywhere within a family.)

Oh, and one more thing--patterns might be interesting too, including longest "boy girl" pattern! : )

2 girls in a row.
girl, girl, boy, girl, girl (in God's care), boy, boy
Our pattern seems to be changing.
A lot of our friends have mostly, or all, boys. One family even has two sets of twin boys (8 children, so far).

I have 2 boys, and am expecting a girl - so not much "row" there.
BUT, I have a friend who has 6 girls in a row, and her 7th child was a boy :)

Fun topic, Alice !
We have a boy, a girl, then 7 boys in a row. We have a big gap between our 2 older children and our 7 youngest - 8 years - so people often think we have just boys. It's always noisy around here and it's a good thing I like frogs and worms
Blessings,

Well, I have boy-boy-boy, and two of my closest IRL friends have boy-boy-boy, except one of them pulled ahead last year and had a girl!

We have never had 2 girls in a row, I'm curious to know what that would be like, my girls are all about 5 years apart!
An elderly mother down the street raised 11 children (her husband passed last year) They had 10 boys first, and the 11th was a girl!

My dc all want a baby boy next. (I'm not pregnant.)
We have a friend who came from 8 girls, then 2 boys. He was the youngest boy.

We have 3 boys and then a girl and then 2 boys and then 2 girls so...I don't really see a pattern but if we got a 2 girls next, we'd end in a "tie!" One can always hope, right?

We have : boy, boy, boy, girl, girl(in heaven), girl(in heaven), boy.
So I guess our next 2 will be boys if we are so blessed, but dd would much rather break the pattern and have a sister!

4 girls in a row. I'll hopefully tell you in 8.5 months whether it's 5 or not.
