I hope that all of you listmates in England, Germany and Belgium (and any other European country affected) are okay after the horrible storms today. I have had a few calls from family and friends telling us how awful it has been. Praying for all of you.

Here in London we are fine, although a poor little boy not far from here died after being crushed by a falling wall. RIP. I can't imagine what that family must be going through.

For us, we've suffered nothing worse than part of the roof blowing off our shed, and random flotsam blowing into the garden. When the rain died down I let the dc play outside for a while and they absolutely loved the wildness.
