Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I *love* this energy!!

I've been in a fog for a few months. The power went out Friday & Saturday from a wind storm. DH has taken four days off work & let me do a lot of resting while the power was out.

(Nothing to do w/ nesting, but while laying down I could hear DH playing board games & reading books to our children with no power..no tv...no chaos, just candles flickering was so nice. He usually comes home from work & unwinds in front of the tv. It was soooo nice.)

The house was a dump....I was scared someone would come by without calling, but couldn't get the energy to do a thing about it. With Christmas around the corner & baby coming any day everything had been so overwhelming.

We've been cleaning, painting, and rearranging bedrooms for two days & I am sooooo happy. It feels so much easier with some energy! This must be what other mommies are talking about when I hear the word nesting.
I'm happy to do it!!

We may even make some cookies today.

Slow down, Michaela! That energy burst is your body's way of getting ready for birth, too. So, enjoy your nesting but be sure to rest plenty...

Michaela,

I'm so happy for you; nothing like getting things in order before baby arrives!

Do get rest, though, you are so close--take naps!!

My energy level is pretty low--I did the only thing I could think of yesterday while seated...I had the dc bring me one junk drawer or clutter basket at a time   and dump it out in front of me, I sorted everything and sent them off putting things away--and I never had to move!

Can't wait to hear your happy news!!

Oh, how I wish I had your energy. I am overwhelmed with what I want to get done! I don't know where to start. I also don't want to drive the people around me crazy with extra chores. I'm torn!!! I'm hoping after the holidays, we will ALL be able to focus on getting things pulled out, washed and organized! Wish me luck !
