Woohoo!  I've finally launched myself out of the 1980's and made myself a blog.  Here it is: Mary's Muse. Now there are several things I do not know, and that is how to make internet connections look nice. The other thing is how to attach pictures. I'll figure those things out, soon, I hope. But in the meantime, tell me what you think!

Looks nice!
In blogger, making things look nice and attaching pictures is easy. To make URLs look nice, you type in the text you want it to say right in the post you are writing, like "4Real Learning Thread on Modesty". Then highlight it, and go right above your text window to where there is a little chain/earth symbol. Click on that and a window should come up. Paste the ugly URL in there and click "OK". Voila!
As for pictures, there should be a little square near that globe/chain icon that looks like a little picture. When you are at the point in your post you want to add a picture, click on that and it should walk you through it.
I hope this was understandable, I was doing it from memory (memory of just a few hours ago when I spent WAYYY too much time fooling around with blogger beta, lol)

I think you will like blogging more than you think once you get the hang of it. I always thought I'd hate it, because I'm not a diary kind of gal, but it's really been interesting so far.
