I had one of those crank ones and I had to press down really hard on the cheese. Very much cheese was left over that could not be grated. What I liked about it is that it had three *heads*: one that grated soft cheese, one that grated hard cheese, and a slicers (didn't use that one too much). I hope to find an efficient, easy-to-use one that's not too expensive. I also would like one with different sized graters/heads.
