Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If you visit Alice's blog Cottage Blessings she has some great spoon saints being made. I love it. Where can you find those spoons? I've looked in craft shops. Maybe at party stores? Help!!! I'm so craft challenged    , but this seems so doable to me.

We bought ours this week at JoAnn's they were in the unfinished wood section and were $2.50 for a bag of 75.

And talk about doable! I just showed my kids Alice's blog and then left the room. When I came back in we had 2 Mother Teresa's, 1 St. Francis, 1 Virgin Mary and 1 St. Patrick. My kids are 7,8 and 9. Great idea Alice! We LOVE these! By All Saint's Day we will be surrounded by a "great cloud of wittnesses!"

KC,
I found mine at Hobby Lobby.

Michael's has them as well.

If all else fails, go to the local gas station/quick stop and raid the ice cream freezer.

KC,
They're down the aisle with the wooden craft clothespins and such.

They only had one brand "Craft It".
$1.99 for 75 count.

We found ours at Joann's. I showed my girls the picture on Alice's blog and they are loving it. My 11yo dd took pictures and put them on our blog.
