Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

... especially when you only know each other from online. The Denver 4-realers had the distinct pleasure of hosting Lissa and her kids for a too short mid-day get together. I wanted to post a picture or two here, but seems my files are too large. Check out my blog to see some of the pix from our visit....just give me a few minutes to upload them to the blog

Mary, we QUITE agree in THIS household!

Anyone who knows us.......KNOWS we get around, meeting LOTS of CCM and 4 RL friends!

In fact, Willa and her family (minus dd Clare who gets to stay with us for almost two weeks!) just left here a few hours ago.

Isn't Lissa just so sweet??? I am SO glad she will be living in CA...........I may get to see her more often... ...and maybe get her to the campout, too.

I will definitely call on all of you in Denver.......if I ever make it here!

Blessings!

What fun! We live so far south that we're not "on the way" anywhere... unless you live in the south and are staying in the south. We travel when we can.. though not as much as Chari!

Hmmmmm...are you on the way to San Antonio from CO? We'd like to go there sometime. OTOH, we're on the way north for you

I was thinking the same thing, Janette.
At least you're near Houston incase anyone heads that way.

No one ever seems to visit Louisiana...especially now.

We might Cay -- since 17 yos is dead-set on entering LSU next Fall! BTW, if you're ever out Denver way, we have a great restaurant to take you to -- Gumbo's passed dh's taste-test (and he lived in BTR for 20 some years!).

...except for me! We can come visit you anytime, Janette!

I actually just met a big group of friends from the NFP message board last weekend. It's fun to put faces with names! Hope to meet some 4Real people besides the 2 I know here in TX.

Well, we're not exactly on the way, but we're not that big a detour either! I've never been to Denver, but we hope to go that way some day.

Cay, as "close" as we are to each other and as many near misses as we've had with your travels to Houston and our drives to Miami, I can't believe we haven't met yet!

Blair, where do you live?! PM me if you'd like!

I know...that's ridiculous, huh.

I have a cousin who moved to the Woodlands over a year ago. We've only been there once.      She was over this past weekend and we talked about going to visit sometime before Christmas. If I head that way we could meet on Market Street and have some fun. There's the ticket!.

Mary G., we do plan to go to Colorado one year. My dc desperately need to see and play in some snow.

Janette, I PMd you; we're neighbors :) Some mutual Catholic HSing friends had told me about this forum, but I didn't find it until I was reading the blogs of lots of the ladies here and saw a link.

Cay--Market Street really is a fun place! Before moving here in January, we lived only a few blocks away from it. I miss all the Woodlands activities (and the great HS group there), but not all the hustle and bustle!

I've never been to Market Street! I'm game whenever you're ready.

Blair, I'm always hoping for Real Learning friends right around the corner, and there you are!

Somehow Chari talked me into driving up and meeting her and Robynn a few weeks back when they were down for a trip to Disneyland. Just kidding about the 'talked me into it' part! I was totally willing! Even if it meant we weren't actually going to Disneyland ourselves. Chari's kids are unbelievably wonderful, as usual. Her 16 year old Matthew held my little Luke the entire time! So sweet! And, I got to meet Robynn and her family for the first time and we have big plans to meet in L.A. for field trips - I'd be glad to drag Lissa up to L.A., too. She should be here in exactly 2 days! Yeah!
