Ok, the pressure is on everybody!

We have 2 formal submissions now with 4 more coming in, soon!

So, wax poetic about the tots and I'll post the submission if you're name is Scott (cut me some slack, I've been rhyming lots).

Hey everyone,

Can I ask a favor?

My son wrote a little poem about tater tots...

Would some of you mind visiting my blog and commenting?

He was so proud of his poem and the illustration he did here at home (that actually had nothing to do with tater tots but lots to do with lobster).

Anyway, I would just appreciate your time and encouragement of his attempt.

Hobbitots

The surface of volcanic rock
reflected in the tater tot.
With dips and crags - those sharp, rough things...
like Mordor in Lord of the Rings.

And Sam, dear Sam with his wild, Hobbit hair...
and his mad affection for the pomme de terre.
Would it be right or would it not
to think Sam would like the tater tot?

It seems to me that Sam would care
about the quality of his pomme de terre.
So, maybe if he grew his own
he'd make fried tots of wide renown.

Hobbits would come from far and wide -
Tater tots uniting the countryside!
And at The Green Dragon they'd drink and eat
And dance on tables with their hairy feet.

Oh, if Peace were so easily had
I'd cook all day for the lassies and lads!
I'd cook the tots the whole day long...
And we'd live in Peace and sing the Coca-Cola song.
