Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Which model type is better -- the more basic type with one scrubber or the spinscrub with several scrubbers? I've looked at Amazon reviews, and people seem pleased with the standard type, but are more mixed in reviewing on the spinscrub types. Thanks!

I LOVE my FloorMate    I cannot live without it. Though, it is not perfect.
I have the SpinScrub 500 now and find it meets my needs. I use it monthly to do the kitchen floor(and occasionally get to the mudroom and foyer). On the first of the month I replace my kitchen vacuum(which I use every night) with the FloorMate and do as much as I can each night til it is done instead of vacuuming. Right now it is how it works here.
This is my second one and I am hoping this one lasts longer than the last. I had that one about 4 years and it was used a lot more since I had an elderly dog at the time. The problem was it wouldn't dry the floor and dh already jury rigged it once because I was a little too rough on the mechanism that changes you to dry vac, wash, or wet pickup. This second one seems to to smoother in that department so I think Hoover addressed that!
I cannot go back to the mop or sponge the floor routine again. My "Corners" get done maybe every other year but as FlyLady says it is better than nothing(and most of us don't walk in the corners    )
I have some sort of cross between linoleum and a ceramic tile in my kitchen, ceramic tile in my mudroom and it works great for all those surfaces. I have never tried the grout brushes/soap-I just keep on goin' with what is in the machine at the time. It seems to get clean
I had nice Bruce wood floors in my old home and could not use the floor mate as they required a special cleaner. I never chanced ruining them but my neighbor did use her FloorMAte and didn't seem to have a problem.
I got a great deal using the 20% off coupon at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Check that out.
Good luck and hope that helps.
Anne
