I know, I am bragging again  but sometimes you just can't help it! 
Johnathan just called to tell me he went up before a board and won "Soldier of the Month" at the Battalion level. It means he will receive another Army Achievement Medal and he will compete against the others who won Battalion "Soldier of the Month" for "Soldier of the Quarter" at the Brigade level.  He isn't sure when that will be, they have to give him all the details.
Is there a specific thread or topic where we can all post our kid's achievements?
My favorite new quote, "Not bad for a homeschooler."

John called me on Thursday to tell me he had just gone before the board for "Soldier of the Quarter" at the Battalion level. He won.
Soldier of the Quarter
I guess I was confused about the whole process.  Apparently now that he has won SOQ he will compete at the Brigade level. He said it is sometime in October but they haven't given him a date yet.
