Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A person I know intimately has a child who has a difficult time being friendly to other children. "Pat" uses sarcasm sometimes, but mostly he just doesn't want to join in with others and likes being alone. Pat's parents are worried that he has few friends, and the ones he does have, he's not very nice to them. He always has to be right and will argue. He is a meloncholic personality. Pat is 8 y.o. by the way. Is there a book that comes right out and tells children how to be a friend? Any other ideas?

How hard. I wish I could think of something. Hope others can help. I'll keep thinking, too.
