Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

and thinking...
"Gee, I haven't been getting any private messages." Just for old time sake, to reminisce upon the days I used to receive private messages, I checked my private message box.
I found it was full! I have been unable to receive any more.

My dear, all the time. I doubt myself too much.

I'm happy you posted...even with this silly message. I like to see your face around here. I just emptied my inbox yesterday due to the same problem. "No one writes me anymore"...and then I knew why.

In all seriousness, we do need some kind of notification when the box is full, don't we? Tim's recovering from surgery. I'll mention it to him in a few days.

A tip for when you are sending a PM in case the receiver's box turns out to be full and you lose your post - before hitting send, cut and paste your text onto a word document. That way you still have your post even if it is bounced out of the box.

Oh my gosh! I had forgotten all about my PM box! You know, I can keep on top of 2-3 electronic gidgits but above that I start dropping the ball. Bloglines, E-mail addresses for self, daughter, family, blog itself, I'm exhausted! Nay, I just need more coffee! Maybe I'll grab a cafe con leche today

Hi Annie,

I am sorry about the strange PM! I'm not sure how that could happen, but someone will be checking on that as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can go to this thread and post your introduction.

Annie,

What was the username of the person that sent you a PM? Please either post it here or PM me the name. I'm married to the forum admin and we want to check into this.

To all who have received the spam PM today (I know there were quite a few): Please just delete the message. That person's account has been deleted.

I do this all the time, too.

Then, I pause and think, "Ah man...now they KNOW how weird I am!"

Thanks Cay! I'm sort of 'on vacation.' (Actually, mental vacation, I call it.)

This would be great. What about a return to sender when a private messenger box is full? Instead of losing the post, could the post just bounce back and enter the sender's mailbox. (Knowing nothing about these things, I don't really know what I am suggesting.)
