Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have a storage set up or system for game boards that works well? I would like to mose ours into a hall closet but would love ideas on storage so pulling out a game does not cause an avalanche.

Things I have tried that did not work well - tossing some of the boxes and storing in a rubbermaid box with pieces in ziplocks.

Thanks for any advice,
Margaret

I'd *love* to see the answers to this one. I've done the same thing as you, Margaret (Rubbermaid boxes and ziplocs).   Not working.

I haven't tried this yet, but I just saw an article in a magazine (Family Fun I think) where a family put velcro along the edges of the backs of the game boards and also on a wall. They said to put the game board on the wall and lightly trace the outside so you know where the velcro will need to be place onto the wall.

They hung the game boards on the wall and put all the pieces into labeled baggies which were stored in a box. It made a really cute display and kept them all a lot neater. You just "rip" the board off the wall when you want to play.

Since you have said the boxes/baggies haven't worked so far I don't know if this would help, but I think it is a really neat idea.

Blessings,
Krisann

I love these.

You can use them for all different kinds of board games and they stack nicely.

Danielle:

Can you squeeze two boards in one or do you have to have one for each game board? Also, do you find the plastic "hinge" at the back to be durable with frequent use? These look great but seem so pricey when we have so many favorite games. TIA.

Is dh handy? Could he add more shelves into the closet? I had all my boxes stacked on each other, didn't work Dh added another shelve to the cupboard and it fixed the problem.
