So I've been so inspired by the recent posts on Dawn, Elizabeth and Donna blogs, (if I haven't mentioned yours, it's because I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.  ) I would like to have a "Little Ones" carnival. Something to inspire us all to cherish the innocence and fun of preschoolers and below. Anyone interested?

I'm hoping it will be a showcase of posts about our little ones. Some ideas:
Funny things they have done
Resources/Toys you use.
Fun things you do with the children
Advice to a young mom starting out
Favourite paintings/photos/poems about childhood
Observations and reflections
How you make sure your littlest ones don't fall through the cracks
I guess I'm hoping people would like to share something about the early years. How to cherish it and protect it so that when our children look back, they would remember them as truly happy and magical.
I'm hoping to post the carnival on July 28th.

Oh Genevieve, you must have read my mind. I was just snapping some pics of my ds 4 who just learned to peel potatoes last night and I thought what a cute Montessori practical learning post it would make, I'd love to participate!! Thanks for volunteering to do the first one!!

Since you guys have voiced support, I went ahead and announced it on my blog. Do spread the word around since I'm not advertising it through the normal channels.  This is going to be so much fun. Something to inspire us all.

Just wanted to bump this up. Tomorrow is the last day I'm accepting contributions. I don't have many... errrmmm three so far?  I might have to start volunteering other people's blogs to make it a decent carnival. Or start talking about myself... a lot!

I can't believe it has been so long since the last Carnival on the Little Ones. There are a lot of carnivals and loveliness fairs going on but I thought why not have another Little Ones carnival. Advent and Christmas seems like such a special time for the children. Let's talk about how to bring the heart of Christmas to our youngest ones... or anything else you want to talk about! Let's have the deadline be December 1 in time for the first Sunday of Advent. Please submit entries to genevieve_englert at yahoo dot com.
