Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Please share your favorite type of tea for making ice tea. I am especially curious to see what all the other Adagio addicts prefer.
I have been using Irish Breakfast and fresh mint from my garden lately.

I'm not an Adagio addict, but am a tea addict:D -- right now my favorites are "Wulu" Jade Cloud Tea, and several Oolongs. But yesterday I tried some Earl Grey which I haven't done in a while, and it was sooo good -- with honey and lemon. So today I placed an order for this, which I hear is one of the best for iced tea:
Mariage Frerés Earl Grey French Bleu, a small indulgence I'm allowing myself for July.

I just discovered a new herbal iced tea I particularly like made with Red Zinger and Lemon Zinger teas, apple juice, and just a touch of honey. I posted the recipe here. My 11yo son looooves it!

My new fave is "Traditional Medicinals" Organic Mother's Milk Caffeine Free Herbal Tea. It's super yummy iced and also good hot with a splash of milk. Here's their site: Traditional Medicinals

I think they are the ones who make Throat Coat teas as
well!

All the other recipes look good, thanks!!

I LOVE Throat Coat. It's so yummy that I almost don't mind having a sore throat.

I'm looking forward to trying these ideas this summer. Yum!

I just made some iced tea today that was sooooo good! I steeped 6 bags of Trader Joe's decaf English Breakfast, 1 bag Stash peppermint herbal, and 1 bag Trader Joe's decaf Chocolate Tea in 4 cups of water heated to boiling, for 5 minutes. I removed the tea bags and added 4 cups of cold water, to make 2 quarts of tea. Serve with your sweetener of choice (or not), and a sprig of chocolate mint from your garden (if you don't have chocolate mint in your garden, why don't you?!).

If you wanted your tea more minty or more chocolatey, you could just decrease the regular tea bags and increase the peppermint and/or chocolate tea bags.

Our very yummy -once in a while - treat tea is:
Fruit flavored herbal tea or black tea brewed in the sun. Add a can of peaches in heavy syrup (hence the once in a while ). Served chilled over ice. The idea came to me after a meal at the Olive Garden. They serve an iced tea with canned peaches, so this was my attempt.

I just discovered their Just for Kids Organic Nighty Night. Our eldest son enjoyed a cup this past week. Anything to help my little night owl get to sleep. He would stay up reading all night if I let him.

Blessings,
