Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Y'all know ClubMom.com recently launched a MomBlogs section. They had over 20,000 applicants and chose 30 women to write blogs on various parenting-related topics. I am pleased to be one of them, although I'm a bit of an odd duck over there.

Yesterday the "round-up blogger" (the person whose blog is for sharing links to other not-necessarily-clubmom blogs) met with the corporate ClubMom folks and has now posted a list of questions designed to solicit information about who is reading which ClubMom blogs and why. If you're interested in contributing your opinion, go to Mom's Daily Dose (the "Blahg" entry) at ClubMom Blogs.

And if you haven't yet visited my Lilting House blog there, please do! I gather ClubMom is watching our traffic numbers pretty closely...

Thanks, Lissa, for the heads up.

I use the Bloglines and just have them all come up, but I guess that doesn't show traffic for you...I'll have to pull up your blog more often.

They are probably tracking number of Bloglines subscribers as well. Primarily, though, they seem to be watching page views. I haven't heard specific numbers but I know some of the high-profile mommybloggers have huge page view rates, double or triple Bonny Glen. And so far Lilting House isn't getting as much traffic as Bonny Glen, though I'm hoping it'll continue to build.

Hey, all -- here's the link for the page at which to leave comments. Click here and let them know that you're reading Lissa's The Lilting House. I'd really love to see this kind of secular site hear from the faith crowd .... Let's let them know that Lissa is loved.
