Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of some worksheet-like planners I could print to organize the finances? It is my turn to run the 'money stuff' for awhile and I'd sure like to make a success of it! (Or any other cool info that is easy to understand - I am not looking for investment stuff or Rich Dad, Poor Dad type things but rather basic organizing items/checklists, if that makes sense.) I thought I'd seen a great example to print on one of the Household Notebook sites and cannot find it again...

I used to use Philip Lenahan's Finances for Today's Catholic Family. I think Catholic Answers sells it under a slightly different title. It really helped us when we needed it. It also taught me the fine art of budgeting.

I really like the forms from Dave Ramsey. I think they are found in his Total Money Makeover book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0785263268/002-9425777-6729 611?v=glance&n=283155

You can also find his forms here, but you have to pay for the site after your free week trial. I have been using his plan to help keep track of where we're heading financially as we prepare for my husband's eventual retirement from the Army. I really like Dave Ramsey's philosophy, his you can do it attitude and his advice on what percentage of money should go towards what expenses.

Christine, Kym, Amie,

Thank you so much for the links and suggestions! I found a few other sites with some worksheets that might help others too.

Flylady's FACE pages 27 and 29 are all I needed...

Budget Worksheet from About.com

An absolutely blank Budget Record from A Virtuous Woman.org

I'm kinda putting together a Household Notebook for my summer project and Karen Edmisten had a great post today with links to organizers and Lori Seaborg has a few different ones as well.
