Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello friends! Wednesday sneaks up on me sometimes...how about you? :)

All is well here, enjoying the Olympics.

You might find this blog post about password protection helpful.

Not much else to say

How are you and yours?

Love,

University of Maryland College Park announced an enormous security breach today. It goes back years.

Timely advice, Angie!

I have been using the first letter of the word of a phrase for several years now. I often add a letter or two to the end so that all my passwords aren't the same, like A for Amazon or FB for facebook. I still use an old street name for places I don't worry about being hacked because it is easier to type than a letter number combo, but the phrase thing works for me, though I was geeky and picked a literary quote to use

Oh boy, I have some work to do. Mine aren't super easy, but they don't fit the newer standards of complicated either.

For some reason, it's not loading for me, Angie. Could be my server though. We've had slow loading all morning. :(

Anyway. My idea of random passwords before was whatever came to mind that didn't make sense like names of volcanoes or hurricanes paired with some number that occurs to me at the time I'm making the password.

These days all my passwords are randomized. I just type up a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers and characters, etc. until I get a "Strong" feedback from the site I do it first on Notepad (the notepads are stored on our hard drive with the name of the site) then copy-paste onto the field.

My 17-year-old stores his passwords at lastpass and he says it's completely secure. He researches this stuff but I really don't know.

Here's a different take:

http://xkcd.com/936/

Easy to remember, hard to hack.

(Edited to make that link clickable, sorry about that!)

Your page finally loaded for me, Angie. I see you're already using lastpass!
