Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use this? I am thinking about getting a subscription. Which books are your favorites for adults and for smaller kids? Thanks!

I think it is totally worth it for the first couple of months when you get the discounted rate.

But at full price, the benefit of a subscription goes down imo, unless you are using it for adult books for you or your husband. Many of the children's books I've wanted for my boys are less to buy outright, even without the member discount, than the monthly fee for your credit.

I did stop my subscription once the price went up, and they gave me a discounted price for a few more months! I continued for a bit more at full price, but like I said, I did not find it to provide a ton of savings.

That said, I don't regret having my account! I use it often (we love Jim Weiss reading Beatrix Potter and Thornton Burgess as well as his reading of The Wind in the Willows and Carl Reiner reading Just So Stories is very fun--all things we revisit frequently!), I would just watch your wishlist and prices carefully once your introductory price goes up to see if it continues to be a value savings for your family.

I was nervous about canceling my account initially, but you don't lose any of the titles you own, so stopping and starting again is not a big deal.

Hope that helps
