I can't express the horror I feel over all that happened yesterday at the Sandy Hook school.

It has shaken me up terribly... it is always my worst nightmare that something might happen to my children. But something like this goes beyond nightmare proportions.

I can't help but think today how much the slain children remind me of the Holy Innocents. And my heart breaks for the grieving families... I keep thinking of Christmas presents already bought and maybe wrapped that won't be opened, of empty bedrooms, etc

So I am asking today that anyone who can will join me in offering up a rosary for the families in Ct- and if not today then whatever day works best for you.

I can't think what else to do for them at this point but enlist the help of the Blessed Mother and ask her to comfort all those involved.
