Blessed Advent all! How has your week been? All full here!
The Springsteen concert was incredible! Seriously, The Boss is still going strong at 63  . I danced and sang for 3 hours straight 
I'm working on a blog post about it but for now, my recent post is Bring on dessert.
My Christmas present came early and I'm typing on it right now. My MacBook Pro is AWESOME! I hope I can do it justice 
So it's 12-12-12 and it's almost 12:12 here. That's fun

The 20th anniversary of our engagement is today! Dh is celebrating by having a work Christmas party in the city (complete with movie and bar/grill dinner after) and I am celebrating by getting the middle dd to choir. 
We also just bought a car because dh's sorta exploded last week.  The radiator cracked in half with a loud bang. Repairs now cost more than the car was worth... and this was two days after getting a new bumper put on after being rear ended. Oh well, he is thrilled with his new "toy" and now says I don't have to get him anything for Christmas. I drove it today, it's much bigger than I'm used to and I feel like I'm driving a bus.

The 12th was our 20th Wedding Anniversary 
We've just returned from our 2nd honeymoon.
and the grand finale yesterday was attending Mass with my love and our children. We had debated renewing our Wedding vows but chose instead to receive a special blessing after Mass.

I just made six dozen cookies for a cookie exchange with a group of local homeschool moms.  I think I tested too many cookies! First ever in my life that I've had too many cookies!
Our Advent is going great. The boys and I are enjoying a slower pace school with lots of reading! Our afternoons are free for more crafts, cleaning projects, learning to play chess, cookie baking, math games, and reading more books. Loving it!

The Boss gives a GREAT concert! Of course I have been to 1 - YEARS ago! AM a bit jealous!!!! SOOOO - I just listened to his version of Santa Clause is Coming to Town!!! It just doesn't feel like Christmas till I hear that song!

12-12-12 was chosen as a day of celebration for the 12th Man at Texas A&M University and was also the day that we welcomed home our 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny (Football) Manziel!
One of my co-workers attended the event on campus and stood in line to have his picture taken with the Heisman. I was jealous because I didn't get to go, but still haven't come down from the euphoric high of watching the trophy presentation last Saturday!

Busy week of busyness here! Christmas shopping - completed. Cookies to bake this weekend. Library books finally returned. Boy Scout meetings and field trips, plus piano lessons. Very happy to have had a few nights out of the house with friends and one with DH.
Happy anniversary to all!
Speaking of Springsteen, have you heard his Sessions album?

Mailed Christmas packages!
Watched the 12/12/12 Sandy concert. Springsteen joined the stage with Bon Jovi. The Rolling Stones...man they are old, but they are still going strong.
