I have to admit that I'm in a state of shock. My adopted team (Baltimore - I grew up in Dodger territory) has just advanced to the ALDS.
Is anyone else cheering for a MLB team? Or have we all moved on to football? Begun to mourn the NHL season?

(Warning: I bleed Dodger Blue, Orioles Orange and Ravens Purple...and my son lives in Colts territory, for reasons I still can't explain... Oh, and then there's that UCLA thing...)

My husband is a lifelong A's fan and was very happy that his team (underdogs this year!) won the division. We don't have a TV, but he'll definitely be listening to the playoffs!!

My radio is tuned to our baseball station, too.
The A's really pulled it out this year...what an amazing run! (I heard, way out east, an audio clip of the A's qualifying game...the announcer was hoarse, proof he's really cheering along with the team and fans!)

And of course the Rockies stunk it up this year so they are long gone, but big baseball fans here so of course are watching the playoffs. Was sad for Chipper Jones and Atlanta last night (he's an old guy like us - not a good way to end). Figure I'm rooting for Baltimore now.

You know my answer, Nancy! Game on right now (Cardinals & Nationals)
Dbacks did average this year, which was sad considering last season and our hopes for this one. But we didn't stink it up like the Rockies (Yes, Mary, I'm laughing out loud at my computer reading your post...and teasing you with mine!)
TODAY our family is calling:
Reds & Detroit in the World Series (Want the National League Reds to win)
We can root for the Nationals & Rays (National) and A's (I love Bob Melvin their manager!) & Orioles. I won't mention the others...BOOOOOOOOOO
Love,
