Perhaps you can help me.
I'm looking for old fashioned cotton ladies briefs -- high waist style, or close enough.
Only thing I'm hoping is that the leg seams would be less lumpy when wearing pants "no-show" look? It doesn't have to be invisible, but not lumpy.
Any such item exist?

Thanks. Both examples linked I've seen, but I was wondering if wrapped elastic would be more lumpy. There isn't any detail about that aspect. Comfortable, yes, I understand.

I have some covered elastic bands in a different style and don't find them lumpy.

If you search on amazon for cotton, then add skimmies, pettipants, boxers, slip shorts or pant slips, there are multiple options that might suit your needs. Thank you bringing up the subject Jenn! I've been needing something that won't irritate my surgical hernia and I think I may have found a solution!

Garnet Hill has some European styles. Another option might be Hess Natur.

Shadowline makes a cotton brief with (what I think is) very smooth elastic around the legs. I haven't tried them because I couldn't find the hi-cut in cotton, only nylon, from them. I wear the covered elastic Hanes Her Way in the hi-cut though, and that elastic is not too bulky or showy with most of my clothes.

I would look at Her Room.
You can search many ways for what your are looking for. They have "Undie Awards" that people vote on that can help narrow searches and you can call and email for help.
I have order from them a few times and been very happy with the service and selection!

Oh good. That was my first search came across that site, but had no clue about service. I appreciate the feedback. I'm attracted to the Calida brand, as it seems to get high marks....

Calida is very good. It's the most favorite brand of many Germans (although it's Swiss) after many of the German brands stopped being made anymore. My dad never buys any other brand. My grandmother used to drive to Switzerland and buy her Calida there because it was so much cheaper to buy it directly there than in Germany.

Jenn,
Another place to look for Calida is at Sierra Trading Post.
Sometimes they have really great deals, and they are good to work with as well.

I really like STP. Just be sure to order overstocks or closeouts. Every time I accidentally order a 2nd, I get something that doesn't work.

Jenn,
Her Room is having a flash sale today (Aug 9) because their web site was down yesterday. It ends at 3 pm est.
They are offering 20% off entire order with the code emailup
I hope that helps.....

You just need to see if they say why it's a 2nd. I've gotten some things there as seconds for things like color variations and I didn't care about that (children's plastic snowshoes for instance).
