Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It seems that if I try to use the new blogger on Firefox, funky things happen to my photos, as in, they are not all visible so I'll keep adding them thinking they aren't there and end up with a post in Explorer/Bing that has a bunch of wonky pictures not visible to me at all in Firefox.

And then, I'll create a blog post in Explorer where I can see all pictures, and there are fewer wonky sizing issues, but then, when I view my blog post in Firefox, the pictures just aren't there.

They don't show up in Google Reader on Firefox either.

There is nothing different about these pictures. They were taken around the same time on the same camera and uploaded at the same time both to my computer and to blogger.

What gives?

I muich prefer Firefox as a browser, but this is really annoying and consternating

It's a Firefox compatibility issue. :(

The only thing I can personally think of to try is to check your settings - do you have adblock installed/on (if the hosting site looks different from the site you're on, adblock will not display images - anything else in Firefox indicating the hiding of pictures or the display of various components.

If you really like Firefox but it is just not cutting it for you, you might try Chrome. It has fewer glitches than Firefox (Firefox kept shutting down on me on my old computer; and I've not yet installed it on this new laptop) and almost all of the same benefits. And hey - it's not IE.

:)

I have trouble, too, but my trouble is different. I can sometimes upload photos very successfully; other times they upload but I can't see them, leading me to create duplicate uploads as you describe.

Once I publish the blog post (after deleting the dups), everything seems fine in FF.

I have not tried to look at anything in other browsers because this blog basically exists to record my copyright to my photos. It's not something most people would look for or read.

It's nice - in a weird way - to know that I am not the only one experiencing problems.
