Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am looking for books!!!

After long resisting it, but deciding to go with my conscience and the little voice telling me it's the right thing to do, I donated all my old books. Now, I'm starting a fresh path.

I'm looking for 2 things. Leisure, for pure entertainment. And books on the Catholic faith. I'm looking to deepen my understanding and knowledge here. I'd request, something not too heavy, as I only get snippets of time to read, so it can be hard to keep focused if there are weeks between reading.

Thanks!

HAve you read the Katherine Valentine books? Sorta combines the two. A Miracle for St. Cecilias is the First of I think it's 5 books.

And I find the Surprised by the Truth series not only easy to read but because they're in short stories.. they're easier to split up over longer periods of time.

Jodie,

I wanted to say thank you. I loved Katherine Valentine's books. I've read 3, and have a few more coming through interlibrary loan.

If have any further suggestions, I'm all ears(or eyes).
