Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone ever sold a book on Amazon? I noticed they have those "sell yours" today buttons on some book listings, especially the out of print books.

I'm curious how easy or not, it was?!

And I think I "get" what an affiliate is, but if anyone out there is one and can explain in simple terms...like what do you do and how do you get $$ for it (and a lot or a little?)...that would be great too.

I've seen people blogs who have a little "I am an affiliate" post on them. I'm assuming it is all just commission for referral type thing.

I've only sold on half.com, but from what I've read Amazon is very similar.

With half.com you click "sell" and then enter the ISBN, the condition, and the price you are listing the item for. When the item sells, you get the amount of the sale (minus the half.com fees) plus the shipping paid. Then you just mail the book - you can create the shipping label right from half.com.

It's really easy on half. I'm sure Amazon's policies are very similar.

I used to sell books on Amazon. It's fairly easy. Amazon gets a portion of the selling price but I can't remember the details. You choose the condition of the book (they give you guidelines as to what is appropriate) and set the selling price. They send an email with the buyer's info when the book has sold.
