Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone recommend a nice Rosary CD? I would prefer traditional to modern. Thanks!

Beth

I have this one and really like it. It doesn't have the mysteries, just so you know, but it is beautiful.

This isn't a CD, but it is a website that you can recite the Rosary either with a group (world-wide, ongoing around the clock), or pray individually on your own. It is said aloud, with written prayers, and pictures to view. It also has Rosary beads alongside to help you (or younger ones) keep track. It is available at anytime, online.

Come Pray the Rosary

Janice Clarke is a consecrated virgin with a beautiful soprano voice. She has a rosary apostolate and has visited my parish on several occasions sharing her message of praying the rosary for peace and for an end to abortion. She sells CD's - all 20 mysteries, I think, beautiful and traditional - on her website. My kids even love them.

Bumping this older thread to see if anyone has any more recommendations.

Thanks!

We have two older Rosary CDs we really like ~ one with Pope John Paul II leading the Rosary, the other with Mother Angelica leading the prayers. The thing we like most about both is that the pace is prayerful, yet just a little slow, making them conducive to Ora et Labora ~ work and pray ~ listening and praying, along with activity. We used the one with Mother Angelica while preparing apples for the freezer recently ~ it was just right for praying along while doing an otherwise mindless, tedious task.

Servant, Thanks for the suggestions! I like your reasoning here, because I have had to stop listening while driving because most move to fast.

I will check these out!
