Hello dear 4real friends
I haven't been around much here lately. It was a tough year. I wanted to share with you a big pick me-up-moment. I think you all will appreciate it as well. My eldest daughter took her SAT. She's been homeschooled all the way with an emphasis on living books. She loves to read.

She scored 800 (out of 800) on her reading comp part of the test and a 740 (out of 800) on the writing section. (The math was a more average score.) I would have been thrilled with any score she received. I know how hard she works and how dedicated to her studies she is. But a perfect 800! It felt more like a message from God -- kwim?

It seemed much of my homeschooling was under critique this year (especially by me ) because I tried the local Catholic school for my middle children. School has its benefits but so does homeschooling.
