Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How is it possible that I seem to have more time to get my housework done when I am homeschooling? Of course, kindergarten isn't that time consuming and it isn't like I am schooling all of my kids yet. However, I seem to have much more time to get things done than I did before.

I think I do know the reason though. Now we get out of bed, say prayers and start school. First of all, dedicating my day to God leads to a lot less idleness! Secondly, just getting going right away makes the whole day more efficient.

We have time for more read alouds, a cleaner house and a happier family! Oh and it might help that the TV and the computer stay turned off too!

Yes! I totally get this and it happens here, too. I think it has something to do with having a reason for just getting my lazy buns out of bed and getting moving that keeps me going all day.

I always find when I'm busy that I don't have time to "drift away" and so I do get way more done.

Its amazing how getting up at that Heroic hour does make a change in the day. As Theresa says,Just getting my lazy buns out of bed and getting moving that keeps me going all day.

The thing about summers at least here is the sun is out at 5:30 and goes down at about 8:45pm so it helps to get out and get moving!! I guess I make up for winter! :)
