DD and I say prayers every night before bed so on nights when I don't put her to bed (and daddy does) she insists on praying with him. He's not Catholic or even really a believer but he prays with dd and helps guide her in some prayer at night. God works in beautiful ways.
That's all :)

I honestly can't count the numbers of ways that my children have drawn me closer to God and His Church <--happy, grateful tears!
God bless your sweet dd and her sweet parents .

My children, and a mens group at church, have been so instrumental in getting my dh really into the Catholic faith. My kids have also challenged me to learn more-why do they always ask such HARD questions? . I always have the quote..."and a child shall lead them.." go through my head when I see those sweet moments. Enjoy jillian, God has a plan

I have believed for many, many years (especially after my two years as DRE on a military base) that children not only see clearly to the truths that many of us adults cloak in euphemism and political correctness, but that their innocence and love can lead adults to Heaven. Some people say, "Children are gifts from God," and think they are just passing on a trite saying, but there is so much to that simple sentence. Children say things that are so deeply, profoundly true, things that bring adults up short and force them to think again and again about our world and what happens when we leave it behind.
I'm so thankful for your daughter's faith, jillian, and also for your husband's deep love for her - not every father would do what he is doing. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

I am actually really looking forward to learning my faith better by teaching dd. I am a product of "Catholic" school. I can't remember much of my Catholic school days.

I call my elementary school days (after second grade) my "Make a Bookmark for Jesus" days...sigh...fortunately, I was blessed to have a great theology teacher my first year of high school. He is now the President of Christendom College.
