Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a good friend who is trying to find a volunteer position in a summer camp program in the States for her nephew. Does anyone have any suggestions for a Catholic program beginning the end of April until the middle of August?

The young man in question is 18 and just graduating and has led Catholic youth(boys) groups here in Germany. (he is american if that makes a difference)

My kids have really enjoyed going to The Pines in Big Sandy TX. That's the only one I know about though.

How about this one:

The advertising video makes me want to go and there seems to be great staff training.

I would like to second The Pines in Big Sandy, TX. I worked there as a camp counselor many years ago and have friends who work "higher up" there now. If you need any contact information, etc. please do let me know.
Also, I know that they are often looking to hire excellent male counselors and now is the time they're doing it!

ETA: My husband is a former FOCUS missionary and we also know the people who run that camp. It's new but quite excellent! Either one would be an amazing experience for sure!
