Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I love these guys, they are hysterical. Greg and Jennifer are married and do a show called The Catholics Next Door on XM channel 117. I listen to them in the mornings with dd on the way to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

They are the couple that used to do the Rosary Crusade podcast. They went from there to satellite radio.

I do listen to a few "Catholic couples" podcasts. Greg and Jennifer weren't my favorites, though.

Sometimes I find, too, that the topics in Catholic media (all Catholic media, not just CND), aren't appropriate for my children. When my oldest was a baby, I used to listen to Catholic radio whenever I was in the car. Now that my children are older (12 and 6) I find myself cautious about turning it on, because topics like abortion, fornication and pornography are sometimes discussed. Even though the discussion is from a Catholic perspective, those topics are still not ones I want to expose my children to. Especially with call-in shows like Catholic Answers or Women of Grace, you never know what the callers are going to say.

yeah, I always make sure the topic is appropriate. We have had a couple times where they were discussing sex and pornography and the sanctity of marriage. The focus was much more about the sanctity of marriage than the other stuff though. If the topic isn't okay or it's going to that "not ok" place we find something else but so far at least in the last few weeks I have found that it's all been pretty tame, luck of the draw perhaps.
