Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi! My name is Lisa Boyle and I am a Catholic homeschooling mom to 4 children ages 12, 11, 9 and 7. We live in Southeastern PA, outside of Philadelphia. My children are enrolled with Seton, but I do supplement/substitute with other materials, as well.

I teach part-time in the evenings for a local Catholic college and my husband is a letter-carrier and Army reservist.

I look forward to "meeting" other like-minded moms!

God Bless,
Lisa

Welcome, Lisa! And thanks for starting the "Introductions 2011" thread for us.   Looks like none of us remembered to do that.

Hi, my name is Katherine. My husband and I have three children (so far) a girl (almost four) a boy (2) and a baby girl who is seven months old.

My husband is Catholic and I'm in RCIA and excited to be joining the church this Easter. As a "baby Catholic" I'm learning so much while I read to my children about the lives of the saints. I look forward to learning from you all!

Katherine - so glad to have you join us. We are very happy to travel with you on this journey and will remember you especially this Easter as you enter the Church.

Hi all, I'm a lurker coming out of lurkdom, as well. I haven't begun homeschooling but my husband and I been thinking, praying, and researching about it. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and a 10 month old son ... we are in the "let's read books all day long" stage of life - it is glorious (except for when I need to get a few things done, like making sure we eat regularly ).

My husband and I have especially enjoyed all the thoughtful discussions that take place here, and I have learned an amazing amount from y'all.

Hi. I am Lori. I am a soon to be Catholic (this Easter) homeschooling mom of four kids. I have two daughters ages 8 and 6 and I have two sons ages 4 and 2. This is our second year homeschooling. We are doing a traditional "school" at home curriculum. Now that I have been doing it for a little while I am feeling comfortable experimenting. I am leaning more towards Queen homeschool curriculum or a Charlotte Mason style.
