I do not remember if I posted here about my husband not being Catholic and being very opposed to joining me at Mass, but I wanted to share some amazing news with you ladies:
My husband has agreed to take steps towards joining me at Mass for as he puts it "Christmas and Easter and the big things like that".
He is not baptized Catholic, hasn't been raised Catholic or in any church at all. I have been praying for him to be willing to join me at Mass, and he surprised me with saying yes for Christmas Mass and then when we got home from visiting family at Christmastime he said he'd go with me occasionally. I feel so blessed that the Holy Spirit has spoken to his heart to make this step forward.
He also has started making references to the Church in conversations with our daughter.

I've seen prayer work true miracles - sometimes right away, but more often after a lot of time has gone by.
Be not afraid! Ask, and you shall receive! God is so amazingly good...I am so glad to know that you are receiving answers to your heartfelt prayers.

thank you for sharing. you are inspiring me to renew similar prayers for family members.
on a side note, I have long thought how wonderful it would be to have a place on here to post answered prayers like this. any moderators out there I could suggest this to?

That is terrific news! My sister had a similar situation, unchurched husband, not very open to the faith, not baptized....very apathetic. He had a big conversion, became Catholic, and now is on the parish council at his parish...great friends with the priest....it is all so miraculous!!!!! God is so good, and gracious....and merciful!!!!
Praying for conversion!!

This is fabulous! I see it all the time working in RCIA. The year begins with several who are reluctant and some even hostile by the end --well earlier than that-- they are on fire! It's very encouraging.

That is wonderful Jillian! 
I know how you feel. My husband is not Catholic either. It has been hard at times, because he did not grow up in a home that practiced any faith. I have prayed so much in the past several years and I see it working, too. After three years of marriage my husband has finally been to church with us more than once. It really is so special, to finally feel like a family together at mass.
I will keep your family in my prayers.
