Will you be watching the World Series? Who are you rooting for?
6 minutes and counting down ...

Yes, we will be watching. I'm leaning toward the Rangers...as a lifelong Dodger fan, it is pretty hard to think about rooting for the Giants. I'm just sayin'.

GIANTS all the way (says this California girl!!) I can't tell you how many games I sat through in Candlestick Park (that shows my age - it hasn't been Candlestick for a long time) in thermal underwear with 3 layers of coats or simply sitting inside a sleeping bag.
Whoo - hoo - I'm so excited for this series!

Giants, simply because they are in the National League. The DH rule is cheating, just ask my kids.

Have to say, we are a bit undecided here...
Husband is from the Bay area and grew up as a Giants fan (Candlestick, too, Margot) - even was a bat boy for them once after winning some contest. Since they've never won it since being in SF, would like to see that. And their success elevates our NL West conference as well - since we are really Rockie fans here.
But it's neat that the Rangers are in their first World Series. Would be happy to see them win it as well. Clint Hurdle, who is the former Rockies manager and now the Ranger's hitting coach, is a good guy. Would like to see success for him.

We're rooting for the Rangers! Neither team is "ours" (We're a Red Sox family!) but I ended up rooting for the Yankees in the play offs and since they lost I'm rooting for the Rangers since it's their first World Series. I love baseball!

That starts tonight?
Can you tell we are not baseball fans here?
My dad is a huge fan (Yankees) but I never have been able to figure out the appeal.

We are a bit sad that the Rays played so bad.
Despite that, thought, I am rooting for the Rangers because they have never been to a WS before and Josh Hamilton was born and raised in the area!

Welll...not so much the first 2 games but since they are here, in our backyard, literally, could we really root for anyone else?!
