Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those of us who use chrome or foxfire browsers , we can no longer access any blog that has a rpc.blogrolling.com
widget.

those blogs that use blogrolling pop up with a malware warning. This has affected a lot of blogs but since most bloggers use explorer they may not be aware of the problem

this malware is blocking a lot of the blogs from ladies on this board including most of my favorite blogs for example

http://paperdali.blogspot.com/
and
http://dawnathome.typepad.com/by_sun_and_candlelight/

are both being blocked

so if you have a blogrolling widget could you check?
i dont know if it needs to be updated or what-im not tech savy:)

dh says its affecting the "game nerd blog community too" not just homeschoolers lol!

Thanks for this info, Maggie. Alison just posted a question and this may be her problem.

How does one know which widget uses the rpc.blogrolling.com?

Hmm, I wonder if it's a security setting because I can access both of those blogs with Firefox and Chrome (though Chrome did warn me first).

KC your blog came up fine in both.

Well, I just had a friend tell me she got the message. Any idea what widget is causing the problem? I'm pretty sure it is the Catholic Mothers blogroll, and I deleted it, but since I'm having no problem accessing these blogs (including my own), its hard to know if that fixed the problem.

You are correct. It is the Catholic Mothers Online blogroll that is causing it. It is an rpc.blogrolling widget. I am currently unable to access a lot of blogs using Google Chrome. After reading an article in the Costco magazine, I trust that Chrome is detecting the problem correctly and I will not be visiting these sites as long as Chrome shows that they contain malware. A friend deleted the Catholic Mothers blogroll and I can now read her blog.

Blogrolling posted an update and they are going to be shutting down the whole thing soon, for good.

Which is too bad, because I've used it for years and liked it very much.

Someone alerted me about my blog and I took the blogroll off. Can someone check it and make sure everything is showing up ok? I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
