Would you get a second set of earring holes in your ears?
If you'd always sorta wanted them?
If you had birthday money to use? (and enough to buy the earrings you'd want to wear in them on a daily basis)
If your dh agreed with doing so?
If the person who sent the money would be thrilled that you used the money on you and not for household things?

Yes, yes, and yes! I've always liked having a second set of holes, but I started out with an odd 3rd hole when I was 13 to use orphan post earrings.
I admit to being slightly biased, as I have 7 earrings in my ears right now, although I have 11 holes.
ETA: I was cross posting...

I don't see anything at all wrong with multiple holes, but I've just never been moved by the idea of having them myself. My daughters have additional holes (varying numbers), and they look very nice .
Peace,
Nancy

Jodie, I'm all for finding little ways to cheer a woman! I'm not interested in extra holes (I have two and let the other two close) but I do love earrings! I mostly wear dangles, which I display on a lace-filled embroidery ring hanging in my bedroom. Each earring set reminds me of a special occasion or period of my life...I digress .
Love,

I wear endless loop earrings.. on the small side (12-14mm diameter) most of the time and then trade them out if I want a fancy pair of earrings on.. but the little silver or gold hoops do make me feel pretty.. and since my braclets that I wear all the time are a mix of silver and gold I thought it would be fun to be able to wear both a set of silver hoops and a set of gold ones.

Gee, I can't seem to keep a pair in my one set of holes! But, go for it!

These are the same type of earring that I wear in all my holes *except* the main 2. I find them very difficult to put on, so they go in pretty much permanantly. Then I can switch out the main pair of earrings whenever I feel like it.
