Can anyone recommend a good quality digital camera under or around $100? For my birthday my mom is replacing the one the kids just broke.

It was a Kodak Easyshare with 8.1 mp and I liked it pretty much, but I have to replace it with something a little cheaper.

We have the Canon Power Shot SX100. We love it!

Paula, I googled it but the prices were outrageous. One was 500, others over 200... am i seeing the right one, or is yours older or something? They did have letters after the SX100.

It's less than $200 ! A slightly older model (probably the one I have) is about $150.

My in-laws have a Canon Power Shot A480, it works *awesome*! We've borrowed it a few times. I have found it on Ebay for under $100, looking, hoping, dreaming of getting one for ourselves someday. I think they got it at a store for about $120 including accessories. It can catch kid's in motion way better than our cheapo one, and takes VERY nice pictures IMHO. HTH
