It's been so long since I've been here, mily due to a few health issues with my children. Our 20 year old and 14 year old are being tested for celiac. They have been sick for a long time, but the oldest one has been seriously ill for 5 weeks, so we're praying the gluten free diet will help her. The baby, now 2 1/2, is also showing some serious symtoms of celiac, but with the new diet and quiet a few supplements, she seems to be turning around, praise God!
You all remain in my prayers every day during my morning Rosary and every day at Holy Mass. You have prayed for our family for so long and I am forever thankful for your friendship. I don't have much time to reply to prayer requests anymore, but I will keep your intentions in my daily prayers.
Having so many kids with so many different health issues is very overwhelming!!! Please keep them in your prayers.
Now it's time to get the day going.
Love,

Hello, Ruth! We have missed you for sure!
I'm sorry to hear of your children's health struggles; I will pray that it all gets figured out, and soon. It is so hard/stressful when our children are sick, and more so when it isn't clear what the cause is. Five weeks is a looong time!
Also, your new picture is lovely! It's so good to hear from you.
Peace,
Nancy

Oh Ruth, that's huge! I am praying for the recovery. This a huge change for the family, but all for the better results! There are few discussions recently on adjusting to celiac diets in the house. I avoid dairy, eggs, and wheat for our main meals and for my boys, so I am familar a bit with the hardships of diet restrictions.
I'd be glad to be an ear anytime!
