Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do you have this is your town?
I just got a flyer in the mail advertising "spinning"... which is indoor cycling.

It looks to be for serious bike athletes.... but it would be nice if something like that was available for kids/families in the heat of summer or the cold winter.

Has anyone tried this?

I have several friends who do this, and some who actually teach or lead the classes/sessions, and they all love it.

It is definitely for a more serious workout, from what I understand...but something you can work up to, if you really like cycling.

I did my first spin class last Saturday. (A friend was the instructor.)
You can pace it to your own level....but yes, it is geared more towards people who have more than the basic level of fitness. It is a lot of fun.

A small suggestion, should you choose to take a class, if the instructor offers you a gel pad for the seat...take him/her up on their offer! (I'm still a little a tender four days later!)
