Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know that you can buy and sell items on this board..which is great!

I was thinking..as I was sorting through my bookshelves..how many people might be interested in just swapping some items for others as needed. Is there any interest in something like this?...our own version of paperback swap? All we would really have to do is have the postage to mail it out instead of all of the money transactions thereby making things more simple.

I hope I make sense..I do NOT trust my fingers today mixed with third trimester nesting hormones...ha ha

Feedback?? Thoughts??

I think it sounds great myself - I swap on Bookmooch {similar to Paperbackswap but less picky on condition} myself and get a lot of my daughter's books from there.

Me, too. I have tons of elementary grade stuff that I can no longer use. I'd be happy to swap for high school materials, science supplements, Catholic reading materials...

I'd be interested in Elementary stuff, and I have quite a bit of adult books dealing with Catholicism, including some of my religious studies textbooks from college.

It would be fine if folks wanted to do this and on a limited scale some have already done that in the past. Just use the Trading Post forum. Instead of FS or WTB, put SWAP in header. We could change the description to read "Buy, sell, and swap educational materials and post your cottage industry."
