Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

...with a movie...
I have watched things like Pride and Prejudice before and enjoyed them...among other things...
I need a distraction..I really want to watch a move that I can really enjoy the characters and the music...I want to be swept away!

Sitting on this nest waiting for August is getting boring..LOL

Got any suggestions??

The Painted Veil - it is an adults only movie, in my opinion, about how a man copes in a highly unusual way with his wife's infidelity. It has an ending that will make you weep but with joy as well as sadness.

Lucy, I loved that movie, too.
There is also that Catholic element also that adds to the beauty of the film. The novel was written by W. Somerset Maugham.
