Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well, we're thrilled that Maggie (10) still wants dolls and she wants an AG Kit ...

does ANYONE have a code for free shipping so I can surprise her with Kit (she's been working like a dog helping us with the garden this spring!).

anyone?

Ack- Mary, they just had free shipping on orders over $50 not even two weeks ago. But they do this periodically. The best thing is to sign up for their e-mail list, and they will let you know when they have shipping deals... which probably doesn't help you much right now...

Sometimes you can find new dolls on Ebay....

Wish I could help you more!

They usually have a free shipping code about every quarter. Last year there was a free code the end of May. Codes will also show up in catalogs, but not all of the catalogs will have a code every time.

Oh Mary, we wish we could help. You know, if you hadn't moved you could have gotten one right in town without having it shipped. They just opened an AG store at Park Meadows in March!

I know Mary M.
Isn't it exciting?!? My girls can't wait to go! But I hear you have to stand in line for at least 1/2 hour to get IN the store, so we'll wait a bit...

Thanks, ladies ... I'll just wait till the next free shipping comes along and surprise her! She's worried they're "retire" Kit before she saves enough ....

We did lunch for my daughter and a few friends at the Dallas AG store for her 10th birthday last year. I don't think I ordered the "party" but just paid for lunch but each girl gets to sit with her doll in the doll's special chair that clips to the table plus each kid's meal comes with a doll menu and cookie cutter.

You do have to make reservations and it is expensive but it was sooo worth it. It wasn't any more expensive than doing a gymnastics party and plus this was actually her gift that she chose. We also scheduled it on a day when they have free little craft activities (although this was crowded) so all the girls even got to take home a goodie bag w/ those meal things plus their craft. Then they all enjoyed just looking around. The vignettes they have put together behind the glass cases with all the doll accessories had me drooling!!

We did go right when they opened at 10 AM on a week-day and didn't have to wait at all but by the time they started the crafts and we left a few hours later the store was crowded and the line to get the doll's hair was over 30 min. so we passed on that. They even had a special on some dresses so I bought her 2 dresses for about $12.95.

All in all, it was such a fun, sweet party and they all enjoyed it. I would def. recommend a non-school holiday during the week-day and get there right when the doors open.

If I get an email for any discount codes, I'll be sure to post it here. They usu. give notice before they'll retire a doll so I don't think Kit will disappear without some notice.
