Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We're planning a trip to Jamestown and Yorktown this Spring. If you've been there, is there anything we should make sure we do/see? Anything to avoid? We're really excited to go and we're hoping for warm weather. (We're planning to camp at one of the state parks in that area.) We went to Williamsburg last year and camped. It was great! We wished we had more time so we could see Jamestown and Yorktown too, but we just couldn't fit it all in. We had combined that trip with a trip to Gettysburg and it was a little too much. Anyway, just wondering if you could give us some trip pointers!! Thanks!

Not sure I have any specific pointers but we went to both two years ago on a drive up to the east coast and we had such a fabulous time! We practically had Jamestown to ourselves and the kids all of the hands on activities they could try out in the recreated villages. Jamestown had a nice cafeteria as I recall. By comparison the kids (and adults:) were so disappointed with the Plymouth Plantation visit on the same trip - they seem to have been overrun by a PC liberal recreation of history theme.
