Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How wonderful it is that I am here, with all of you! In this short time, my life has been enriched with words of encouragement, prayer, and learning about life and the education of my children! You 've helped me, and therefore, my wee ones.

I had been praying for a group of women, with whom to share such things with ~ but I thought I was praying for a group where I'd actually be with you all in real life, not virtually .

If it weren't for lovely member Christine, who posted an email to our local St. Joseph's homeschool group, in which she shared a blog post by lovely member Sarah M ~ where I found here blog, quickly fell in love with her, and started reading her blog as often as she posted... Then the little words 4Real popped up on her blog and I clicked ~ my life has never been the same since I am so happy to be here.

Is this not the cheesiest post you've ever read? ...Well, I'm cheesy like that. When I love someone, I let them know. Adoring you all and giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for leading me here.

Oh yes, I totally agree, you ladies are so sweet to actually say it.

How funny Chris.. I found the boards in a very simliar way. I read an article by Elizabeth (the founder) and it linked to her blog and I rarely read blogs, but I'd saved it and one evening I was stuck sitting holding the baby I believe and ran out of my normal things to do and went to her blog and that very day on her blog she had given the link to here. And since I can't read without "talking".. I signed up on the spot

You should be living in Wisconsin!

I'm as happy as you are with all the women I've met and the life-long friendships I've made.

Oh, Chris... I know the feeling you've shared. And *cheesy* doesn't mean *insincere*. I'm so glad you've joined the list of women I love knowing!

Peace,
Nancy

I too came here via Elizabeth's blog. It was her slide show of pictures following Karoline's birth and you ladies that convinced this (at the time, not yet) convert of the joys of a large family, openness to life, and homeschooling. Thank you all very much! My life has been very blessed thanks to you!
