Thanks Molly for posting ... the littles and I won't be going up for the March but we'll be there in spirit and Rick is leaving at 4a.m. to bring kids up while Catie is sleeping at the shrine with her Ave Maria buddies ... we'll be praying for one and all!

Hubby and 3 kids are going on the Thurs 9PM bus from central NY.
Daniel is going with his school and spending a couple days in DC. He is serving Mass at the Shrine on Saturday afternoon!  Super cool!

My husband and oldest (16) are going with the Belmont Abbey group; my 12yo found the virtual march online, so we're going to check that out for the rest of us.

Yep, dh will be busy with the 100+ kids from JPtheGreat and since he's got to leave so darn early, we're not going with ... and you're right, I can't do it alone either -- it's just too long a day

I'm still vaguely hopeful that I can talk dh into going. We used to live on Capitol Hill and we'd just walk over every year. It was pretty funny, actually, because we could start walking from our house and after a few blocks we'd see marchers who were all done but we'd still make it to the "start" while people were waiting to begin. So fun--and this year looks to be much less cold than some.

Well that is awesome because people on fb kept asking if I was marching and it'd get there in about july if I started marching now even in Canada I did a check online and the only march I saw is on the west coast . I will call the local pro life people though and see if anything is planned here . I also thought perhaps the boys and I could do a silent march . Just walk around our nieghbourhood praying for the afternoon . We have an abortion clinic in the hospital only about 5-6 blocks away and unforunately many young aboriginal women from our nieghbourhood access it . So we could use all the prayer you can send .

Yes, I just signed up myself and my three littler ones. My dd is there right now with 150 students from her Catholic high school here in DE.
I love the virtual march...how encouraging for the kids to see the map of all the people around the country that are standing up for the unborn!
