I had offered to host a Loveliness Fair this month-- is there still an interest in this? I'd love to go ahead with it if so!
Originally I had planned to do a Winter Evenings at Home theme, but I wonder if a Loveliness Fair on Short-Circuiting the February Blues might be especially helpful as we gear up to enter the hardest-time-of-year-to-homeschool. What do you ladies think?

Sorry, I meant to add that I like the short-circuiting idea! (which could easily include winter evenings at home).

I apologize, Jennifer-- I actually meant to link your wonderful post, as it serves as the inspiration for this theme...  whoops!
I'm not stealing your idea-- just using your inspiring post as a jumping-off point...
So, ladies- how about if you would like to contribute something to a Loveliness Fair on
Short Circuiting the February Blues, please send me a link to your post by Friday, January 22th, and I'll host the fair on Monday, January 25th.

Chris,
I don't have time to link right now, but quickly, a Loveliness Fair is generally a *fair* or collection of blog posts centered around a *lovely* theme. One person agrees to hostess the Loveliness Fair on her blog and she collects links from other people that submit something they have written on that theme. These links are gathered into one post and interested readers can stop by to see the various ideas and expressions of creativity. It's a very lovely thing! (I feel so Martha Stewart-ish saying that!  )
So, Sarah is going to hostess a fair. Sounds like she's looking for posts on Short Circuiting the February Blues.
Anyone with a blog can submit something, but the fair is available for all to read and enjoy!
Hope this helps...I need to get back to lesson planning...can someone link one of the Loveliness Fairs for Chris to take a look at?

Nonsense, m'dear!!!! I didn't think you were stealing at all!!!! Actually, I was kind of excited thinking of what you and others might have to offer on this theme!! >>Ducking<< February is one of my favorite times to home school! I'll save my thoughts for your fair!  Excited to participate!

I believe you can participate even without your own blog.. you'd PM or email the hostess with your contribution and it's included in the hostess post.
But even though I "don't blog" I decided it was worth it to get myself a blog just for the lovliness fairs. I have one post on my blog and it was from one of the lovliness fairs over a year ago. I have most of one written but not posted on Christmas cookies/goodies but well.. it didn't happen and with no deadline.. it's still not finished
