Hurray! My two oldest dc were blessed by a friend of mine who offered a wonderful class last year about "little known" saints and blesseds from the seven continents. And Bl. Mary MacKillop was who they studied from Australia! They'll be excited too!

I saw this news this morning, and I told the kids and they asked if any of "my people" were from Australia?
I told them, "I have some "people" from Australia and I am sure they are jumping for joy today!!!
It is just wonderful news, and I look forward to learning (and teaching) all about her!

Awesome!
I especially love all the holy mothers who become saints.. Mother Drexel, Mother Cabrini, Mother Seton, Mother Marguerite, Mother Theresa ( as good as there IMO).
These ladies are so inspiring!

We are rejoicing Anne. My children found out this morning and were so excited to tell us - they all researched and wrote about Bl. Mary McKillop when we did our Australia study in September - remember you sent us a lovely picture. We are so excited!!
